- Common Therapies In Cancer Care
I have noticed a significant variation in how well cancer patients manage their therapy. Persons will naturally react differently to any drug or exposure to radiation. Pain threshold will also vary among individuals. In addition the outcome for two cancer patients with apparently similar cancers is not always the same.
An interesting twist to these observations is the development of personalized medicine. This approach aims to evaluate persons based on their genetic makeup to determine which individual would respond best to a particular therapy.
